Raptures
RAPTURES are series of bird images.
Aesthetically, I am interested in paper as a stage where asymmetry and occupied space create visual unrest and curiosity.
Thematically, I am interested in the ambiguity of the birds’ motion: are they entering of leaving the image frame? Is their motion of of bliss or one of alarm?
Emotionally, I am interested in humor, delight, and recognition.
